Sonora Elementary School Site Council

The Site Council is a team of parents, administration, teachers, and staff members within our school community. Their main responsibility is to review, approve, and provide oversight for the LCAP (Local Control and Accountability Plan), which is the document that focuses on academic programs, parent engagement, safety, and discipline to support the school’s overall improvement.  They also approve our Title I program, our Comprehensive Safety Plan, our Wellness Plan, and provide input on other important decisions that affect the direction of the school.
