Medical and Retirement Plans: General Information

Health Coverage

All of the health coverage we offer at Sonora Elementary is managed by California’s Valued Trust (CVT). With just one login you can learn more about your plans and stay involved in your coverage.

• MEDICAL: We include a variety of options from Anthem PPO and Kaiser HMO, with plans for individuals and additional family members.
• VISION: Our vision care plans are provided by VSP.
• DENTAL: Our dental care plans are provided by Delta Dental.
• LIFE: Our life insurance plans are provided by MetLife.

Supplemental Coverage

In addition to CVT, the following plans can be added for disability, dependent care, and whole life options.

• The Standard (teachers only)
• American Fidelity

Retirement Plans

Retirement plans are provided by Cal STRS (teachers) and Cal PERS (non-teachers) at no cost to employees.

To add additional retirement withholdings, the 403b and 457 plans are also available through Tax-Sheltered Annuity Plans (TSA).
