The Sonora Elementary Wrestling Team claimed the Tuolumne County Wrestling Championship on December 13, 2025, at Sonora High School, securing the title for the second year in a row.
The back-to-back championship reflects the team’s hard work, dedication, and continued excellence on the mat. Coaches Abernathy and Bearden praised the wrestlers for their determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, as the team competed against worthy rivals, Curtis Creek and Summerville.
